شهروند| آموزش از بدو کودکی، از عوامل مهم و حیاتی تعلیمی جمعیت هلال‌احمر است. مسئولان هلال‌احمر نیز بارها این عامل مهم را خاطرنشان و به اهمیت آن اشاره کرده‌اند. یکی دیگر از عوامل مهم در جمعیت هلال‌احمر، مشارکت بخش خصوصی در اقدامات آموزشی جمعیت هلال‌احمر است. اتفاقی که در مهدکودک الفبا به وقوع پیوست، نمونه‌ای توأمان از هر دو عامل مهم در فعالیت‌های آموزشی جمعیت هلال‌احمر است.
در راستای همکاری سازمان‌های مردم‌نهاد غیردولتی با بخش خصوصی و عموم مردم و افزایش ضریب آمادگی و تاب‌آوری مهدهای کودک منطقه 3 شهر تهران، جمعی از اعضای شوراهای اجرایی جوانان و امداد جمعیت هلال‌احمر منطقه 3 شهر تهران با همکاری مربیان و مدیریت مهدکودک الفبا در روز چهارشنبه مورخ 18مردادماه پس از مشخص کردن نقاط امن مهدکودک و کلاس‌ها با نمادهای مثلث قرمز و سبز به‌عنوان نقاط امن تجمع ایمن، مانوری تحت عنوان آمادگی در برابر زلزله احتمالی تهران و تخلیه امن برگزار کردند تا علاوه بر آشناسازی کودکان عضو کانون غنچه‌های هلال‌احمر مهدکودک با شرایط اضطراری، به مربی‌ها و پرسنل مهدکودک نیز چگونگی عملکرد در شرایط بحرانی آموزش داده شود که ازجمله آن تشکیل کارگروه مدیریت شرایط اضطراری مهدکودک است.
هدف از اینگونه مانور‌ها علاوه بر افزایش مهارت و قدرت تصمیم‌گیری کودکان در شرایط اضطراری یک نوع فرهنگ‌سازی در حوزه مدیریت بحران است، چرا که اگر اینگونه مسائل از کودکی در درون نسل آینده نهادینه شود، در زمان رخداد حوادث شاهد خسارات جانی و مالی کمتری خواهیم بود و این مهم میسر نخواهد شد مگر با افزایش انگیزه مردم برای حفاظت از خود در شرایط بحرانی از طریق آموزش همگانی.
